Delivery Driver
Our delivery teams do more than move furniture. For most customers, our crew is the only person from the retailer they will ever meet, and that visit decides how the whole purchase is remembered. Drivers operate the truck, lead the crew, and take responsibility for the condition of every piece that leaves the trailer and the impression left in the home.
Drivers and helpers work the same appointments and share the same duties: loading, unloading, placement, and setup. The driver additionally operates the vehicle and owns the route. No two days are alike, and wages reflect that.
Required skills
- Clear verbal and written communication, and strong listening skills
- Reading and comprehension sufficient for manifests and work orders
- Basic numeric reasoning
- Able to bend, stoop, reach, stand, push, pull, and repeatedly lift cartons of 50 to 100+ lbs
Required experience
- An acceptable Motor Vehicle Record, maintained throughout employment
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT physical card
- Willingness to cover a helper position when the route requires it
Delivery Helper
Helpers work alongside the driver on every appointment, handling loading, unloading, placement, and setup in the customer's home. The role carries the same standard of care and the same customer-facing responsibility as the driver position, without the vehicle.
This is a strong entry point into the trade. Helpers who want to move into a driver seat are trained and promoted from within.
Required skills
- Clear verbal and written communication, and strong listening skills
- Reading and comprehension sufficient for manifests and work orders
- Basic numeric reasoning

Contract carriers

Owner-operators and small carriers work alongside our employee crews, following the same service, safety, and performance standards. Contract Carrier / Owner-Operator
Contract carriers run dedicated final-mile routes out of our Lancaster, Columbus, Dayton, Franklin Furnace, and Indianapolis hubs. You supply the equipment and crew; we supply the volume, the routing, and the retail relationships.
What you provide
- Box truck and qualified crew
- Active motor carrier authority where applicable
- Cargo and liability insurance meeting our minimums
- DOT compliance and current driver qualification files
What we provide
- Consistent year-round route volume
- Routing, dispatch, and customer scheduling
- Training to the same standard as our employee crews
- Settlement on a defined schedule
